Getting started with the mobile app

To begin, download the mobile app by clicking one of the buttons below or searching for "The Conservation Hub" on "Google Play" or the "App Store".

An overview of the mobile app

With the The Conservation Hub mobile app, you can:

• Create an account, or log into your existing account.
• Search for projects, and request to join them.
• Record and submit data, with offline access available.
• View and post new discussion threads within your projects.
• See upcoming project events and RSVP.

What do I need to do to start submitting data?

To get started with submitting data to The Conservation Hub, you need to do the following:

• Create an account, or log into your existing account (instructions below).
• Join the project you would like to submit data to (guide here).
• Learn how to submit data (guide here)

Creating a new account

To use the mobile app, you first need to create an account. You can do that by following these steps:

1. Open the mobile app and press My Hub at the bottom of the screen.
2. Enter your details onto this page - it's important you use an email address that you have access to, and your password must be at least 6 characters long.
3. Press Sign up
4. You will see a message on your screen saying a verification code has been sent to your email address. Open your email inbox, and look for an email with the subject like The Conservation Hub Pin Code, if you do not see an email from us, check your spam folder.
5. Take the 4 digit number from your email, and type that into the Pin Code field on the mobile app.
6. Press Sign up.
7. If your pin code is correct, you should now be logged in. To join your first group, click this link to go to our next guide.

Logging in to your account

To log into your existing account, follow these steps:

1. Open the mobile app and press My Hub at the bottom of the screen.
2. Press the Sign in link under the heading Sign up for an account.
3. Enter your email address and password. If you have forgotten your password, refer to the instructions below to reset your password.
4. Press Sign in to account.
5. If your login details are correct, you should now be logged in.

Resetting your password

To reset your password, follow these steps:

1. Open the mobile app and press My Hub at the bottom of the screen.
2. Press the Sign in link under the heading Sign up for an account.
3. Press Forgot password? Under the button Sign in to account.
4. Enter your email address into the text field and press Submit.
5. On the next screen, enter your new password into the Password field. Your password must be at least 6 characters.
6. You will see a message on your screen saying a verification code has been sent to your email address. Open your email inbox, and look for an email with the subject like The Conservation Hub Pin Code, if you do not see an email from us, check your spam folder.
7. Take the 4 digit number from your email, and type that into the Pin Code field on the mobile app.
8. Press Submit.
9. If your pin code is correct, your password will be rest and you should now be logged in.

Logging out

To log out of The Conservation Hub, press on Settings at the bottom of the screen, then scroll down and press the Log out button.
